Anna Czerniak

Anna Czerniak is 16 years old and in the 11th grade at Hathaway Brown School in Cleveland. She has studied violin for 13 years. Anna started her violin lessons at the age of 3 and quickly became a member of the Texas Young Virtuosi as a student of Joyce Durfee. Anna continued her studies of violin as a student of Kenneth Goldsmith in the Preparatory Program at The Shepherd School of Music of Rice University. Anna also studied piano with Dariusz Pawlas and John Weems. Since 2001, Anna studied violin with Professor Fredell Lack. In 2001, she participated in a summer music program with the eminent violinist and teacher, Kaja Danczowska in Krakow Conservatory of Music in Poland. In the summer of 2004, Anna attended Marrow Stone Music Festival at the University of Washington. Anna also attended the Encore School for Strings in the years 2005, 2006, and 2007. She studied with Professor Linda Cerone. As of this year, Anna has moved to Cleveland to attend the Young Artist Program at the Cleveland Institute of Music. Anna continues her studies with Linda Cerone. Anna has won several competitions in Houston.
